my best day in australia

I arrived in Australia on the 10th of August, and it's now my second week here. This ccountry is just amazing. But what to say about my best day in Australia or Noosa. Each day here in Noosa is a great day. When I arrived in Australia I was so impressed because of the beautiful nature and the huge number of new animals. I've never seen a parrot or a kanguru so far and also the trees and the sun look differnt than in Europe or especially in Austria.
The next beautiful surprise I had was my host family. Anna and Jasper are such a nice and friendly couple and they welcomed me so friendly. Here in Australia I've got my own apartment. My own kitchen, my own livingroom and my own terrasse. I love it. The first week I had it totaly on my own and now I share it with a nother student from France.
On my second day I walked to the beach and I just loved it. For people as me, who haven't got the sea next to their door, it's always something amazing and something special. Just sitting at the beach, feeling the sand under one's feet and enjoying the fascinating view over the sea. The best time to go to the beach is one hour before the sunset. You can enjoy the last warm arms of the sun and watch an impressing sun set in red, pink, orange and yellow.
There is just one problem I have with Australia. The nights are so cold that I nearly can't sleep. That's strange, because normally I can also sleep with open window during winter in Austria, but here I just hat Australian winter. I only took my summer cloths with me.

I can't tell you about my best day here in Noosa. I love each day, because I have always fun.

Film critic "house of the flying daggers"

My moste favourite film I have ever seen is "house of the flying daggers".
The film is set in the 15th century and tells about the war between the tribes in China. It's a fantastic action drama about war, love and friendship. The film was set up by the most famouse chinese director (but don't ask me for his name). Also the film "hero" was made by him.
Actually I don't know the names of the actors but each one of them was playing phenomenously. The scenes in the film are just beautiful. The colours are so intensive. For example the green of the trees, the brown of the wood , the yellow and red of the sunrise or the thousands of different red and brown levels of the leaves, that you just wish to get there in a second.
The camera team have really done a great job, when they tried to catch the falling leaves or a waterdrop falling in the sea. It's just good relaxation for your soul when you see the beautiful nature of China out of that perspective.
But it's not only a film about nature. Mainly the film is known because of its fighting scenes. But the scenes arn't as in hollywood productions, where thousands of people are dying and loosing their legs or arms. For those film you just can say it's art when you see how two people are fighting against each other, and the fight is just becoming an impressing dance. The costumes are wonderful. The brightness of the colours and the lot of silk in red, orange and yellow, green and blue are just impressing.
In the plot of "house of the flying daggers" there is also a romance. The problem of the romance is, that he's fighting for the chinese regime and she's fighting for a tribe against the regime. As you can imagine there can't be an happy ending. Both get killed by her husband who was as a spion for the tribe and also a friend of his wife's lover.
What I love about this film is that there are nearly no special effects. The cheographies for the fights you see are based on the fight sports of judo, karate and kung fu. All the actors had a training in those sports or allready knew them.
the music in the film is just fantastic and moving, that I just start crying when I listen to the soundtrack.
My opinion about that film is, that it's just great. Everybody will love it. It dosn't matter if they like fights, nature, love or if they don't like it. But if you are sitting in the cinema, you will just grapping the hand of your neighbour sitting next to you because you will be so thrilled.
"House of the flying daggers" is the only film a can watch for ever.
